Eligibility Requirements

Although we'd love to provide free care to everyone, the Stigma is Out of Style campaign is meant to support those in financial need. Please read through the eligibility requirements below to see if you qualify before applying.

  1. If you are joining an identity specific group (i.e. BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, etc. group), you must personally identify with that specific identity.

  2. The free care is meant to serve those who couldn't afford therapy otherwise. We suggest applicants make less than $50k/year, but if you have other circumstances that you believe deem you eligible, please still apply. This could be large amounts of debt, recent natural disasters, having multiple dependents, or other circumstances that have created financial strain. 

  3. You must be 18 years or older to attend groups.

  4. Providers for each group will be based in the United States. While those outside of the US can apply to attend the groups, please keep in mind that scheduling for sessions will mainly accommodate US time zones.

  5. You must be committed to attending group sessions once a week for 8 weeks. If you already know you have a trip or vacation planned and may not be able to attend 1-2 sessions, please still apply. However, we ask that you not miss more than 2 weeks during the 8 week period.

  6. All groups are hosted in English. You must be fluent enough in English to engage in group discussion around the set topic.
