Welcome! Looking for a therapist is not always easy, but I'm glad you are here. It's perfectly normal for anyone to feel anxious or ambivalent about engaging with this process. Maybe you are ready to dive right in, or perhaps you are somewhere in between.
I seek to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space for you to process what may be going on in your life. My approach is holistic and takes into account all aspects of who you are. This includes your strengths, traumas, and your overall life experiences in the midst of life's challenges. Together, we will explore what you may be experiencing now, what may have happened in the past, and where you’d like to see yourself in the future. You are the leader in this journey, and I am here to bear witness to your experience. Please reach out to me for a free 15-minute phone consultation to get a sense if I am the right therapist for you.
I received my MSW from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in NYC, where I studied clinical practice with a specialization in health and mental health. My master's thesis explored the role of social workers in reproductive healthcare. I have experience integrating a variety of different therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and relational and narrative therapy.
